Defense Minister ישראל כ"ץ spoke this evening (Wednesday) at the Israel Defense Prize ceremony. In his remarks, the minister addressed tensions with Iran: "The campaign against Iran is far from over. The IDF is prepared to strike Iran with great force. If Iran attacks Israel, it will absorb a heavy blow, as we did a few days ago."

Katz added: "The Middle East is changing before our eyes. Right now, we are watching with great pride as our heroic fighters operate deep inside Lebanon against the Hezbollah terror organization, which acts on behalf of the Iranian regime, and are landing heavy blows on it."

"Yesterday, the IDF evacuated a Christian neighborhood in Tyre and struck Hezbollah terrorists who had found shelter there. Of course, the residents will now return to their homes. We continue to strike Hezbollah terrorists everywhere for the security of the northern communities and the State of Israel, and we completely reject Iran's threats and its attempt to link the different fronts."
