That is according to a report today (Thursday) in the Argentine newspaper "La Nacion."
According to the federal police in Buenos Aires, the investigation into the dealer accused of distributing items banned from circulation began in April, following a suspicious post that appeared on Marketplace, Facebook’s classified ads section. Military uniforms from the armies of the United States and Germany were offered for sale there, especially ones used during World War II.
Because some of the items bore Nazi symbols, and one of the photos showed the Nazi tyrant Adolf Hitler’s book, "Mein Kampf," authorities decided to act to identify the person behind the listing. The investigation was assigned to the Directorate of Counterterrorism and the supervisory unit for investigations into complex crimes and organized crime.
Today, detectives raided the seller’s home and found tiles bearing the image of a swastika, belts, hats, daggers, and a military medal with a swastika. They also seized pistols, hunting rifles, ammunition, helmets, army coats, metal badges with swastikas, and Nazi literature.
