U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee said today (Tuesday) that "there is no possibility whatsoever of dismantling the relationship between the two countries." That was reported by Israel Hayom. Huckabee spoke at a conference hosted by the Israeli-American Council (IAC), marking 250 years of American independence. The conference was held in Israel, with business leaders and public figures from both countries in attendance.

The American ambassador addressed reports of tensions between figures in the White House and the Israeli government, saying that "when I hear people ask whether it is possible that the U.S. and Israel could split and no longer benefit from this extraordinary partnership, I say: no. You need to understand that we are not that foolish. This is an extraordinary 'marriage' between Israel and the U.S. There is absolutely no chance of a separation, also because of the economic significance of such a move."

Later in his remarks, Huckabee also addressed the historical roots of the relationship between the two countries, arguing that the U.S. was deeply influenced by Jewish heritage and the Ten Commandments in shaping its foundations. In his words, "If the U.S. forgets its heritage and the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, it will not be the great nation it became."
