The ceremony will be attended by President Isaac Herzog, Defense Minister Israel Katz, IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir, and Air Force Commander Maj. Gen. Omer Tishler.
According to the IDF, the graduates began their training just a few months before the October 7 terrorist attack and completed the three-year course while navigating the extraordinary security challenges of a prolonged war.
Despite the operational demands, the course continued on schedule, with adjustments made to meet the changing security reality while continuing to prepare the next generation of Israeli Air Force flight crews.
Throughout the program, course commanders balanced training with active operational service across multiple combat fronts. The IDF said the instructors continued training the cadets while simultaneously participating in intensive operational missions, allowing real-time battlefield experience to help shape the course.
At the conclusion of the program, the graduates will receive their pilot wings and officer ranks before joining the operational ranks of the Israeli Air Force.
As members of the Air Force's operational flight crews, the graduates of Flight Course 192 are expected to take part in missions to defend the State of Israel and carry out future combat operations.
