TASHLICH
Tashlich is a symbolic declaration of throwing our sins into the sea.
Ideally, people do it looking towards the sea even if it is very far away.
In places where you can't see any sea or river, all you need to do is fill up a bucket of water and say the declaration.
Sephardi girls don't have to but can say it if they wish.
YEHI RATZONS
The Yehi Ratzons that we say on the Rosh Hashanah Simanim is a short prayer that we say before we eat the food. As an example by the animal head we say שנהיה לראש ולא לזנב, that we should be for the head and not the tail, that this coming year we be at the top B"H.
Let it be Hashem's will that everything will be very good for us the coming year!
MOTZEI SHABBAT HAVDALAH
1. Borei Pri Hagefen
2. Kiddush

4. Havdalah
ROSH HASHANAH FUN FACTS
1. If you forget to say the Ya'ale Veyavo of Rosh Hashana by Birkat Hamazon, you don't repeat.
2. Do not bless Shehechiyanu by either night by candle lighting although some the minhag to yes say Shehechiyanu on the first night.
If you don't know your minhag, don't say Shehechiyanu.
At the Kiddush on both nights, one person says Shehechiyanu and everyone answers "Amen."
3. It is best not to sleep as from sunrise though after midday it's ok to sleep. Its better to sleep than to waste time chatting. In addition, we have to do our maximum hishtadlut not to get angry, if we are too tired, we are prone to lose our temper so sleeping at least for a short time is recommended.
4. As from Sunday night we add HAMELECH HAMISHPAT in all Amida's. There is a big machloket what happens if we forget. I don't want to say what to do, best to try your very best not to forget.
5. if you forget HAMELECH HAKADOSH everyone agrees that you have repeat the Amida.
6. This year because Rosh Hashanah falls on Shabbat, in the Amidah on Shabbat we say ZIKARON TERUAH and not Yom Teruah.
This year, because Rosh Hashanah is on Shabbat, there is no Shofar; Shabbat is our Shofar. Did you know: the reason there is no shofar is just in case one guy would accidentally violate the Shabbat to take the shofar in a place without an eiruv? So none of us blow the shofar — which is our protection for the whole year — on Shabbat, just because of that one potential case that would probably never happen?! This comes to perhaps teach us the vast importance of keeping every single detail of the Shabbat, and learning the halachot in order to not be mechalel Shabbat C”V in any way. The Ohr Sameach says that on a year that Rosh Hashanah falls on Shabbat, and we don't blow the Shofar because of this, then the Segulah of Shabbat is equal to the Segulah of the protection of the Shofar. Many say that a year in which Rosh Hashanah falls on Shabbat can be an amazing year of Chas Ve Shalom the opposite. What is this dependent on? ROSH HASHANAH ON SHABBAT
The answer is that if we want it to be a blessed year B"H, we must take extra caution to properly observe the Shabbat. This Rosh Hashanah carries a lot of importance and potential, so if we care to do well and put in extra effort in our Shabbat observance and propery honoring the holy Shabbat, this will serve as our protection, and B"H this year will be an amazing year, better than ever before!
