UAE Warns Iran: "You Will Pay a Very Heavy Price Tonight"

A senior Emirati official told Reuters this afternoon that "Iran will pay a very heavy price tonight," following Iranian attacks overnight and this morning on targets in the United Arab Emirates.

At the same time, Kuwait announced that it had intercepted 13 drones and two ballistic missiles launched from Iran toward its territory. The report was carried by Kuwait's state news agency.

Meanwhile, during funeral ceremonies for Ali Khamenei, the Iranian regime organized mass rallies in what appeared to be a coordinated show of support. Participants were heard chanting slogans against U.S. President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

The newspaper Kayhan, widely regarded as a mouthpiece of the Iranian regime, published a front-page headline reading: "I Want Trump's Head." In an accompanying column, editor Hossein Shariatmadari wrote that Trump, his associates, and the pilots he claims were involved in the killing of Khamenei should be officially marked for death. According to the article, the American president should be killed wherever he is found.

As previously reported, Mohsen Rezaei, an adviser to Iran's supreme leader, said last night that taking revenge on Trump and Netanyahu is one of the goals of the Islamic Revolution.

"There is a very strong popular demand that both Netanyahu and Trump not only be punished," Rezaei said. "Not only should they be punished, but the full price must also be exacted from them for all the damage they caused." He also described Netanyahu as a convicted international criminal who must be punished.

Rezaei also addressed the possibility of renewed negotiations with the United States, urging opponents of talks to remain patient.

"The Americans themselves are the ones who will destroy the negotiations," he said. "They themselves will not allow them to succeed. The revolution now taking place in Iran includes military defense, punishing Netanyahu and Trump, raising the awareness of the peoples of the region, and liberating the entire region from Israel and the U.S."
