Hezbollah Radwan Force Operative Captured in Southern Lebanon
The IDF said its forces detained a Hezbollah operative in the Bint Jbeil area, where a clash took place last week in which an Israeli soldier was seriously wounded. The operative, from Hezbollah’s elite Radwan Force, was transferred to Israel for questioning. Lebanese reports also said the IDF carried out a strike in southern Lebanon.

The arrest was carried out in the same area where a serious incident occurred last Thursday, in which an IDF soldier sustained critical wounds.
The detained operative is a member of the Radwan Force — Hezbollah's elite commando unit, which has been responsible for directing and executing attacks against both IDF forces and Israeli civilians throughout the course of the conflict. Following his capture, the operative was transferred to Israel for interrogation by Unit 504, the IDF's human intelligence collection unit.
In an official statement, the IDF said: "The IDF will continue operating to eliminate any threat to its forces and will not permit the Hezbollah terror organization to harm the civilians of the State of Israel."
Separately, Lebanese media reported that an IDF drone struck in the Ali al-Taher area in southern Lebanon during the afternoon hours.
