A Lufthansa flight bound for Frankfurt was delayed on Friday after three young men were arrested aboard the aircraft moments before takeoff. According to police, the suspects caused a disturbance during pre-flight preparations, refused to obey instructions from the flight crew and police officers, assaulted officers at the scene, and one of them threatened a policewoman, saying: "May you go through October 7 again."

The incident began after the Lufthansa crew alerted police that three passengers were behaving aggressively and posed a danger to both passengers and crew. Officers from the Ben Gurion Airport precinct boarded the aircraft and instructed the three to leave.

According to police, the suspects refused repeated orders from both the flight crew and officers to exit the plane, prompting police to arrest them. During the arrest, the three allegedly resisted and assaulted the officers.

The suspects are two brothers, ages 25 and 26, from Jaffa, and their 17-year-old friend from Bat Yam. All three were taken into custody and questioned at the Ben Gurion Airport police station, where they remain in detention.

During the confrontation, four police officers and two police volunteers were injured. Police said several members of the security forces were bitten by the suspects while attempting to bring them under control. All of the injured received medical treatment.

Police also said that during the arrest, one of the suspects directed the threat at a policewoman, telling her: "May you go through October 7 again."

Footage of the incident circulated on social media, showing the three suspects arguing with officers, shouting insults, and refusing to leave the aircraft while passengers and crew waited for the situation to be resolved.

Police said they plan to bring the three suspects before the Magistrate's Court after Shabbat, where they will request an extension of their detention as the investigation continues.
