After the Samaria Attacks: Large-Scale IDF Operations Underway in the Shomron and Menashe Areas
IDF forces raided the villages of Beit Furik and Tubas, where the terrorists behind two attacks in the Shomron earlier today had come from. In one of the attacks, an IDF soldier was lightly wounded after being stabbed by a Palestinian police officer. All three terrorists involved were killed.

Arrest of a suspect today during operations in the Shomron (Photo: IDF Spokesperson)Toward evening today (Thursday), IDF forces began a large-scale operational mission in the villages of Tubas and Beit Furik, where the three terrorists who carried out two attacks earlier today in the Shomron had come from.
In the first attack, during the afternoon hours, two terrorists assaulted and stabbed an Israeli civilian in the area where a fire had been set, near the community of Itamar in the Shomron Brigade sector. Later in the afternoon, another terrorist, a Palestinian police officer, stabbed an IDF combat soldier, who was lightly wounded, in the Ganim area of the Menashe Brigade sector. All three terrorists were killed.
IDF forces entered Beit Furik, and during the operation arrived at the home of one of the terrorists who carried out the attack in the Shomron Brigade sector. The forces searched several buildings and questioned a number of suspects.
At the same time, forces arrived in the village of Tubas, where the terrorist who carried out the attack in the Ganim area and wounded the IDF soldier had lived. The forces entered the terrorist’s home and are operating throughout the village area to prevent terrorism.
According to the IDF Spokesperson, "IDF forces will continue to operate proactively and offensively to prevent terrorism, and will carry out enforcement actions to improve protection and the security of residents throughout Judea and Samaria."
