IDF forces continue their operations in northern Gaza, and as part of a targeted mission to destroy Hamas terror infrastructure, they destroyed another underground route stretching hundreds of meters. According to a statement released today (Monday) by the IDF Spokesperson, the activity was led by forces from the Northern Brigade and Yahalom troops operating under the command of Division 99.

The IDF said the tunnel’s destruction was carried out במסגרת the brigade-level operation aimed at dismantling Hamas’s network of underground routes in the area. During the activity, another underground route was located, measuring hundreds of meters in length, and after the engineering work was completed, it was destroyed by the forces.

According to the IDF, this is part of a broader effort focused on neutralizing underground infrastructure used by the Hamas terror organization. The forces continue to operate in the field with the goal of removing threats and locating additional infrastructure.

Alongside the announcement, the IDF distributed footage from inside the underground route that was destroyed, as well as footage of the tunnel’s destruction.
