The IDF struck a weapons depot in Gaza that had been set up inside a mosque, along with additional weapons depots, the IDF Spokesperson said Wednesday afternoon. The military noted that "this is another example of terrorist organizations using civilian infrastructure for terrorist purposes, placing weapons in the heart of the civilian population, including religious sites, to advance terrorist activity."

"The weapons were intended to harm IDF forces operating in the Yellow Line area and civilians in the State of Israel, and were destroyed in order to remove the threat."

In addition, during operations Tuesday night in northern Gaza, IDF soldiers located a cache of rockets underground, aimed at central Israel. The soldiers worked to destroy them. The site contained long-range rocket launchers.

Meanwhile, the Lebanese newspaper Al-Akhbar reported that a Hamas delegation arrived in Cairo to "complete negotiations to establish the ceasefire and move to the second stage of U.S. President Donald Trump's plan."
