TV host Ilanit Levy and her husband, Eliraz Sadeh, have one daughter together. In recent days, however, Sadeh made it clear that he longs to have another child. “Our little girl is four now, but we’re still trying,” Sadeh said.
“Another Disappointment, and Another One”
Over the weekend, Levy was asked about what they have been going through and shared that it has been a difficult period for her, particularly emotionally.
“We’ve wanted this for quite a long time. I know women who have been going through this for many more years than I have. It isn’t easy. Another disappointment, and another disappointment, and then another one. It is a very difficult process, both emotionally and physically. For me, the emotional part is harder than the physical part.”
Asked how she manages to cope with the experience, Levy explained that faith gives them hope as they continue trying.
“We have faith that one day it will happen, that there will be some kind of miracle from Heaven alongside all the injections, and that God will make it happen and bring us another little one.”
How Torah Has Changed Their Marriage
Recently, Sadeh, who has been growing stronger in his religious observance and now wears a kippah and tzitzit, also spoke about his relationship with his wife, Ilanit Levy.
“Many times, I’ve found that I understand my wife better through the Torah, through things I’ve picked up from different Torah classes,” he told content creator Liron Ofir. “You also feel that you are able to give more at home when you are more consistent about praying, for example, and attending Torah classes. It has a tangible effect on the home.”
Sadeh went on to describe the difference he feels his commitment to prayer makes in his marriage.
“The more careful I am about praying Shacharit, Mincha, and Maariv, the sweeter the husband Ilanit gets. It’s mathematics. Send your husband to Shacharit, Mincha, and Maariv, and you’ll get an angel at home.”
