The IDF Spokesperson said Thursday evening that it had confirmed that terrorist Mohammed Mohsen Nimr Yazgi, a commander in Hamas’s Shati Battalion, was killed in an IDF strike in the Gaza City area earlier this week, on Monday.

Throughout the war, the terrorist was involved in holding hostages captive in the Gaza City Brigade area, including Emily Damari, Romi Gonen and Matan Angrest.

In addition, in another strike two days ago in the Sabra area, the IDF killed terrorist Mohammed Fawzi Mohammed Awad Gamal, a terrorist in the Daraj Tuffah Battalion of Hamas’s military wing.

Recently, the terrorists advanced terror plans against IDF forces and Israeli civilians and worked to rebuild Hamas’s capabilities, while systematically violating the ceasefire. The terrorists were killed from the air to remove the threat they posed.
