Sirens Sound in Northern Israel After Unidentified Aerial Object Detected
An unidentified object triggered sirens in northern Israel, prompting overnight IDF searches. Authorities have yet to determine what was detected.

The IDF is continuing its investigation this morning (Sunday) into an unidentified object that crossed from Lebanon into northern Israel last night. The object has since disappeared.
The object was first detected last night at around 8:00 p.m., triggering sirens in the Arab al-Aramshe area. Forces were dispatched to several locations, including Adamit, Arab al-Aramshe, Ya'ara, Goren, Hanita, Shlomi, Gesher HaZiv, Sa'ar, Kabri, Avdon, Betzet, Liman, Nahariya, Evron, Ben Ami, Matzuba, and Rosh HaNikra.
IDF forces began searching the area by ground and air. The searches continued throughout the night and into the morning, but no findings were reported.
Meanwhile, a military investigation is underway to determine the nature of the object detected by radar systems. According to the information available, authorities have not yet established what the object was. Ynet published security camera footage showing the object as captured in one of the northern communities.
The IDF Spokesperson stated: "Following the alert activated last night at 7:57 p.m. in Arab al-Aramshe, IDF observers identified an unidentified aerial object near the border with Lebanon. IDF forces are continuing searches in the area. So far, no unusual findings have been located. There are no special instructions for the public."
