A Jew Is a Jew: The Eternal Spark of Emunah
No matter how far you've fallen or how distant you feel from Hashem, there's something deep within your soul that can never be erased.

Have you ever felt like something was missing from your life, even when everything seemed to be going well? You might have everything you once dreamed of, yet deep inside, something still feels empty.
Why?
Because our souls weren't created just to enjoy this world. They were created to connect with Hashem.
Emunah isn't just another part of Judaism. It's the foundation of everything. Without it, life can feel like tohu va'vohu, confusion, emptiness, darkness, and a lack of direction. But when we recognize that Hashem created us for a purpose, suddenly, everything begins to have meaning.
A Jew Is Always a Jew
Our Sages teach us something extraordinary:
"ישראל אף על פי שחטא, ישראל הוא"
Yisrael, af al pi shechata, Yisrael hu.
A Jew, even after sinning, remains a Jew.
The most distant jews.
The ones who deny Hashem's existence.
The atheists.
All of us. Still Jewish. No matter what.
Think about that for a moment.
A Jew can make mistakes.
A Jew can fall.
A Jew can spend years disconnected from Torah and mitzvot.
But a Jew never stops being a Jew.
"כל ישראל יש להם חלק לעולם הבא"—All Israel have a share in the World to Come, yet our choices carry spiritual consequences.
At our spiritual root, we belong to something incredibly holy. We have a purpose, a mission, and the opportunity to make our tikkun in this world.
And that's the beauty of teshuvah.
No matter how far you've wandered, you can always turn back toward Hashem.
Hashem Already Gave You the Blueprint
Imagine an architect designing a magnificent 80-story building.
Before a single brick is laid, every detail is carefully planned. Every line, measurement, and foundation point has a purpose.
Now imagine someone with absolutely no knowledge of architecture looking at those plans.
"What's this little circle for? And why do we need this line? It doesn't look important. Let's just leave it out!"
But the architect knows something that person doesn't.
That tiny detail they dismissed might be the very thing holding the entire building together.
Our lives are no different.
Before Hashem created the world, He had already established its blueprint: the Torah.
Every mitzvah, every halacha, and every detail has a purpose. And just because we don't understand the reason behind a particular commandment doesn't mean it isn't essential.
Hashem sees the entire blueprint. We only see a tiny piece of it.
Just as we wouldn't question an expert architect's blueprint, but would trust him to design a safe, strong, and sturdy building, how much more so should we trust the King of all kings, the Creator of the entire universe, who designed every detail of our existence with infinite wisdom!
So when something in the Torah doesn't make sense to us, let's remember Who designed it.
The One who created us knows exactly what our souls need.
And the more we trust His wisdom and follow His blueprint, the stronger the foundation of our lives becomes.
Your Soul Is Waiting for You
So where do we begin?
With one small step.
Learn a little Torah each day.
Speak to Hashem.
Strengthen one mitzvah.
And if you've fallen?
Get back up.
If you've made mistakes?
Do teshuvah.
If you've drifted away?
Come closer.
You don't have to become a different person overnight to return to Hashem. You have to rediscover the holiness that's already ingrained within the very essence of who you are.
Because that spark of emunah never truly disappears.
It's within you, waiting for you to give it light.
