Emunah Schreiber, the sister of freed hostage Avinatan Or, was moderately injured several days ago in a car accident near Rechelim Junction in Samaria while attempting to escape a stone-throwing attack on her vehicle. The incident was cleared for publication Thursday.

According to an investigation into the incident, Schreiber was driving in the area when Palestinians began throwing stones at her vehicle. As she attempted to flee the scene, her car veered off the road, leaving her injured and in need of medical treatment. Schreiber, a resident of Shiloh in the Binyamin Regional Council, was evacuated to Beilinson Hospital, where she remains hospitalized with spinal fractures and bruising.

Her family asked the public to pray for her recovery. “By the mercy of Heaven, Emunah does not need surgery and her life is not in danger. She has fractures in her spine, serious bruises and pain. She is hospitalized and surrounded by her family.”

Emunah is one of six siblings of freed hostage Avinatan Or, who was kidnapped by Hamas terrorists during the October 7 attack.
