The IDF announced Monday that six Hamas operatives were killed in a series of airstrikes across the Gaza Strip, including strikes carried out on Saturday and October 22. Among those killed were two members of Hamas's elite Nukhba force who infiltrated Israel during the October 7 massacre, along with operatives involved in the terrorist organization's sniper, rocket, and recruitment operations.
In two strikes carried out Saturday in northern Gaza, the IDF killed Nabil Hamad, a senior official in Hamas's recruitment network who was responsible for strengthening and rebuilding the organization's military wing, and Muhannad Nader Mahmoud Dahdouh, a sniper commander who, according to the military, actively participated in combat and planned attacks against Israeli forces.
The IDF also confirmed that two additional Hamas operatives were killed in separate strikes in northern Gaza on October 22.
One was Wael Naif Fahmi Maslam, a member of Hamas's Nukhba force who participated in the October 7 infiltration into Israeli territory. The other was Arafat Kamal Muhammad Arair, who served as a squad commander in Hamas's rocket unit.
Two further Hamas operatives were killed Saturday in strikes in central and southern Gaza.
In the Khan Yunis area, the IDF killed Muhammad Kamel Musleh Qudeih, a Nukhba operative who infiltrated Kibbutz Nir Oz during the October 7 attack. According to the military, Qudeih was responsible for maintaining the operational readiness of Nukhba forces.
In a separate strike in the Nuseirat area of central Gaza, Diaa Abd al-Muhsin Muhammad Abu al-Rous, another member of Hamas's Nukhba force, was killed.
The IDF stated that all six operatives had remained active throughout the war and, particularly in recent months, had been involved in planning attacks against Israeli security forces and civilians, as well as efforts to rebuild Hamas's military capabilities.
