Japanese Terrorist Behind 1972 Lod Airport Massacre Dies in Beirut at 78
Kozo Okamoto, 78, died in Beirut, where he had lived since being released from an Israeli prison in 1985 as part of the Jibril prisoner exchange. In 1972, he and two other terrorists murdered 24 people in an attack at Ben Gurion Airport.
