Incitement

A 49-year-old Israeli faces 28 charges of incitement to terrorism and violence over threatening social media posts targeting Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, his family, and coalition lawmakers ahead of the Knesset elections

Doctored photos of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev wearing a kippah and sporting an exaggerated nose spread across social media, with assessments pointing to elements in Iran, Turkey, and Russia behind the wave of incitement.

Prosecutors told Dr. Yolanda Yavor they plan to indict her, pending a hearing, on a charge of incitement to terrorism over posts against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. In a separate case, an East Jerusalem resident was charged with supplying a weapon to a terrorist who allegedly planned to harm National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir.
