Over the past week, IDF forces carried out a large-scale operation in villages along the seam zone, targeting networks that allegedly help Palestinians enter Israel illegally. At the same time, police continue making arrests in communities across the country and shutting down businesses accused of employing undocumented Palestinians.
The IDF said this morning that it intercepted a drone detected near the Jordan border. Officials have not said where it was launched from. Two drones were intercepted along the border yesterday as well. Current assessment: they were launched from Iraq.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu landed in Washington overnight and is set to meet with President Donald Trump this evening. Netanyahu is expected to present information indicating that Iran continues to advance its nuclear weapons and ballistic missile efforts.
