Homemade Horseradish Recipe for Pesach

Ingredients

White Horseradish

  • 750 g fresh horseradish root

  • 1/4 cup vinegar

  • 1/2 cup boiled water, cooled

  • 3 tablespoons sugar

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Red Horseradish

  • 500 g fresh horseradish root

  • 250 g beets

  • 1/4 cup vinegar

  • 1/2 cup boiled water, cooled

  • 3 tablespoons sugar

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

Peel the horseradish root and grate or grind it. For the red horseradish, peel and grind the beets as well.

Mix thoroughly with the remaining ingredients, then place in a serving dish for the Seder table.
