Hezbollah Rocket Slams Kiryat Shmona Apartment Building; One Seriously Wounded
Hezbollah fired rockets at the Ramim Ridge and Kiryat Shmona. One rocket hit a five-story building, sparking a fire. A man in his 60s was seriously hurt and a woman in her 70s was moderately injured; two people around 20 suffered minor blast injuries.

Magen David Adom (MDA) said that medics and paramedics rescued two people from the scene: a man about 60 in serious condition with abdominal trauma, and a woman about 70 in moderate condition with abdominal trauma. Two young adults around 20 were evacuated in mild condition with blast injuries.
An MDA emergency medical technician, Moran Abu Shakara, said: "It was a building strike; we arrived with large forces of ambulances, mobile intensive care units, and MDA motorcycles. There was destruction and smoke at the scene; we extracted the wounded from the rubble and quickly began providing life-saving medical treatment to the victims".
According to the Israel Fire and Rescue Authority - Northern District, firefighters worked to put out the blaze and also searched the apartments to evacuate residents from the building and rule out anyone trapped.
