Overnight Iranian Barrage Triggers Sirens Across Israel; Six Sustain Minor Injuries in Tel Aviv

Shrapnel caused only minor injuries in a Tel Aviv building. Earlier in the night, interceptor debris struck a building in Nesher, causing heavy damage. Near dawn, a missile landed in open terrain outside Beersheba.

Repeated launches from Iran toward Israel overnight and this morning (Tuesday) triggered sirens across wide areas—from the north to the south. For the seventh time, sirens sounded in central Israel, Samaria, the lowlands, and the Jordan Valley. In several locations in the greater Tel Aviv area, buildings were hit. One site was classified as having severe damage, and a fire broke out there.

Magen David Adom (MDA) reported that six people were lightly injured at the various scenes. Netivei Israel said that Highway 444 northbound, near the Rosh HaAyin South interchange, was closed to traffic due to falling shrapnel.

Fire and rescue teams searched several buildings in Tel Aviv that were damaged by the blast to ensure no one was trapped, while also working to put out fires that broke out in several vehicles at the scene.

The Fire and Rescue Service said: "There are civilians in a shelter in one of the damaged buildings, and we have established contact with them. Being in the shelter prevented casualties."

Earlier, at 6:17 a.m., sirens sounded in Beersheba, the western Negev, and the Gaza-border communities following additional launches from Iran. Two impact sites were reported in the Negev capital area, both in open terrain. No injuries or damage were reported.

At 4:28 a.m., sirens sounded in the greater Tel Aviv area, the Sharon, and Samaria. A missile fired from Iran fell in an open area. MDA received no calls about injuries. At 4:04 a.m., during an earlier barrage, sirens were activated in the Western Galilee and Upper Galilee. The missile fired then also fell in an open area, and MDA received just one call about a person who was injured after leaving a protected space and stepping on shrapnel. Multiple strikes from interceptor debris were reported in the city of Nesher during the Iranian barrage toward the north.
