Oven Baked Salmon with Lemon, Mustard, and Capers

Ready in 20 minutes and perfect for a healthy, flavorful meal

Ingredients

3.3 lbs (1.5 kg) fresh salmon fillet, skin on
2 lemons
⅓ cup capers (in vinegar)
⅓ cup mustard
Salt and pepper

Instructions

Remove the salmon from the refrigerator about 30 minutes before cooking so it reaches room temperature. Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

Place the salmon in a baking dish. Spread the mustard over the fish and season with salt and pepper.

Slice the lemons into thin rounds and place them on top of the salmon. Sprinkle the capers over the fish.

Bake for about 20 minutes, to prevent the salmon from drying out.
