Hezbollah Barrages Slam Northern Israel: 8 IDF Soldiers Hurt in South Lebanon, Woman Injured in Nahariya

The fire from Lebanon toward northern Israel continues. Today (Monday), since the morning hours, Hezbollah operatives launched dozens of rockets at the Galilee and the Upper Galilee. In addition, according to the IDF, since the morning the Air Force intercepted more than 10 hostile aircraft that were launched from Lebanon toward the State of Israel and at Israeli forces operating in southern Lebanon.

The IDF Spokesperson updated in the afternoon that earlier today, two IDF soldiers were moderately wounded and six other soldiers were lightly wounded, as a result of an explosive drone detonating in the area where they are operating in southern Lebanon.

In the afternoon, it was also reported that a rocket scored a direct hit on a three-story building in Nahariya. The Fire and Rescue Authority, Coastal District, said that firefighting teams from the Nahariya station operated at the scene, conducted comprehensive searches for people who might be trapped, and disconnected the building from energy sources to prevent additional danger.

As a result of the strike, one woman was lightly injured. Magen David Adom paramedics Omri Gorga and Sahar Yishai Barel said: "We received reports about a strike site and headed out with ambulances, mobile intensive care units, and MDA motorcycles to the location. We arrived at the scene within a few minutes and saw destruction, shattered glass on the floor, and smoke. We began extensive searches there and treated on site a woman about 60, in mild condition, who was apparently injured by glass shards".
