ShutterstockA StandWithUs Northwest fundraiser featuring Noa Cochva was targeted in Seattle yesterday after activists exposed the event’s previously undisclosed location, with protesters later gathering outside the venue.
The event, organized as a private reception with the location shared only upon registration, was held under heightened caution following reported threats. The reception was hosted by StandWithUs Northwest and promoted as part of its “Women Warriors” programming. Cochva, a former Miss Israel and IDF combat medic, has become active in pro-Israel advocacy abroad. The event also featured StandWithUs Law director Carly Gammill as part of the program.

Organizers initially withheld the venue, stating that the “location [would be] given upon registration.” In the days leading up to the event, however, activist accounts circulated the address of Seattle Town Hall, and called on anti-Israel protesters to attend. Reports alleged that an individual identified as Philip Zurcher obtained the event location by registering in advance and later shared it publicly. Some posts urged supporters to “resist” Cochva’s appearance.
Protesters gathered outside the Town Hall venue while attendees arrived for the event. No official statement from Seattle police or event organizers was publicly available following the demonstration.
Cochva has previously faced protests during speaking engagements in the United States, reflecting heightened tensions around Israel-related advocacy events following October 7. Organizers of such events have increasingly adopted additional security measures, including limiting public disclosure of venues.
No further incidents were reported following the Seattle event, and it remains unclear whether additional security measures will be implemented for similar gatherings in the future.
