IDF Says It Killed Hamas Nukhba Commander Who Stormed the Nova Party on Oct. 7

The military says Anas Muhammad Ibrahim Hamad, who took part in the Oct. 7 massacre and posed an immediate threat to troops, was eliminated in a precision airstrike in central Gaza.

The IDF announced that it killed Anas Muhammad Ibrahim Hamad on Monday in central Gaza, a Hamas Nukhba commander who took part in the incursion into the State of Israel during the Oct. 7 attack, specifically at the Nova party.

According to the IDF Spokesperson's Unit, he was among those involved in that day's deadly massacre and had recently posed an immediate threat to IDF forces operating in the Gaza Strip. The killing was carried out in a precise airstrike after he was identified as an operational target.

The IDF emphasized that the action was part of ongoing efforts to thwart threats to troops on the ground. It added that IDF forces under Southern Command are deployed in the area in accordance with the existing agreement and continue to work systematically to remove immediate threats.

The official statement said: \"The IDF eliminated a Nukhba commander who raided the Nova party on Oct. 7 and posed an immediate threat to our forces.\" The IDF added that operational activity continues under the guidance of the political leadership and with the aim of ensuring the safety of troops and civilians.
