Shavuot is the perfect excuse to bring rich, creamy dairy dishes to the table, especially warm dips that everyone gathers around the moment they come out of the oven. This cheesy baked artichoke dip is smooth, flavorful, and packed with garlic, Parmesan, and mozzarella. Serve it with fresh bread, crackers, or vegetables for an easy appetizer that feels festive and comforting at the same time.
Ingredients
- 2 artichoke hearts
- 4 oz cream cheese
- 4 oz sour cream
- 4 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 3.5 oz Parmesan cheese
- 3.5 oz mozzarella cheese
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Salt, ground chili pepper, black pepper, and dried basil, to taste
How to Make It
Preheat the oven to 350°F.
Place the artichoke hearts in a small pot with a little salt and the lemon juice. Cover with boiling water.
Cook for about 30 minutes, or until the artichoke hearts become soft.
Drain well and transfer the artichokes to a mixing bowl.
Add the cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise.
Stir in the crushed garlic, spices, Parmesan cheese, and mozzarella cheese.
Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and bake for about 15 minutes, or until hot and bubbly.
Serve warm with bread, crackers, or fresh vegetables.
