Khamenei: "Documents and Signatures Alone Are Not a Guarantee for Any Possible Agreement"
Iran’s regime released a statement in the name of Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei. Tehran is demanding guarantees, including control over the Strait of Hormuz, as a condition for moving forward in negotiations. President Donald Trump is convening a special Cabinet security meeting today.

Khamenei (use under סעיף 27א׳)Advisers to Iran’s supreme leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, released a statement today (Wednesday) with his comments on the continuation of negotiations with the United States. The statement said: "The real guarantee for an agreement with the United States is the Strait of Hormuz. Our red line is clear this time: documents and signatures alone are not a guarantee for any possible agreement."
In addition, Iran is accusing the United States of violating the ceasefire and attacking Iranian commercial ships. According to a statement from Iran’s Foreign Ministry, "The United States has continued illegal and unjust actions. Since the ceasefire was declared, it has carried out many acts of maritime robbery against Iranian commercial ships. Washington has violated the ceasefire in the Hormuz area over the past 28 hours. Iran will not leave any act of aggression unanswered and will not hesitate to defend Iran’s interests."

As previously reported, the Iranians announced the day before yesterday that their main conditions for progress in the negotiations are the release of about $12 billion frozen in accounts in Qatar, as well as transferring control of the Strait of Hormuz to the Iranian regime, which, according to the statement, is prepared to consider a partnership with Oman. Another condition is an end to Israeli strikes in Lebanon.
