IDF forces from the Judea Brigade operated overnight (between Sunday and Monday) in the city of Hebron following the car-ramming attack that took place last night at Gush Junction, in which three Israeli civilians were injured. The operation focused on the home of the attacker who carried out the assault, as part of the IDF’s efforts to deepen the investigation and act against terror operatives in the area.
As part of the overnight operation, the forces raided the attacker’s home and carried out a series of operational activities at the site. Alongside the activity at the house, suspects believed to be close to the attacker were also questioned, with the aim of gathering additional information regarding the circumstances of the attack and the assailant’s immediate circle.
The IDF emphasized that the overnight activity is part of an ongoing effort to thwart terror attacks throughout Judea and Samaria. In a military statement, it was said that “The IDF continues to operate throughout the Judea and Samaria Division to thwart terrorism and protect the citizens of the State of Israel.”
