Ingredients

  • 4 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1½ tablespoons dry yeast

  • 1 cup mixed seeds:

    • 1 tablespoon sunflower seeds

    • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds

    • 1 tablespoon pumpkin seeds

    • 1 tablespoon flaxseeds

    • (Fill the remainder of the cup with additional mixed seeds)

  • ½ cup sugar

  • ½ cup honey

  • ¼ cup oil

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1 cup lukewarm water

  • 1 beaten egg, for brushing

Instructions

  1. Combine all the ingredients in a large bowl and knead well until a smooth, uniform dough forms.

  2. Cover the bowl and let the dough rise for about 2 hours, or until it doubles in size.

  3. Once risen, divide the dough into individual rolls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  4. Brush the tops with the beaten egg. For a richer color, you may mix the egg with ¼ teaspoon instant coffee before brushing (optional).

  5. Bake in a preheated 180°C (350°F) oven until the rolls are golden brown.

  6. Remove from the oven, allow to cool slightly, and serve.

Enjoy!
