(Photo: IDF Spokesperson)IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir took part today (Tuesday) in a commanders’ training exercise held in the north. During the visit, Zamir referred to yesterday’s strike in Iran: "The Air Force strike in Iran was preparation for a much more significant and heavier blow."
"The IDF was, and continues to be, on alert and in immediate readiness to resume fighting in Iran. All of our defense and attack systems were on standby and prepared. We intercepted the threats fired at us and struck in Iran swiftly and powerfully. We are ready to return and deliver another hard and deep blow to Iran. The Iranian attempt to set equations and change the reality will fail."
Addressing the Lebanese front, Zamir said: "The army will continue to operate and deepen the damage to Hezbollah while defending the northern communities. IDF forces continue to fight and carry out strikes in the area of the forward defensive line in southern Lebanon, destroying terror infrastructure, including significant underground infrastructure in the Beaufort area, which was used by Hezbollah as a fire base and command center for managing the fighting."
