  • 6–7 cups boiling water

  • A handful of fresh cilantro or parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Step 1: Sauté the Vegetables

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large soup pot.

  2. Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent.

  3. Add the garlic, carrot, and potato.

  4. Stir and cook for 1–2 minutes.

Step 2: Add the Seasonings
