Smoked Salmon and Pear Tortilla Rolls

This quick and impressive appetizer is perfect for brunches, holiday gatherings, Shabbat meals, and entertaining guests

Ingredients

  • 1 package ready-made tortillas

  • 1 package smoked salmon (lox)

  • 1 pear

  • Mayonnaise, for spreading

  • Lettuce leaves, one for each tortilla

Instructions

  1. Place each tortilla on a clean work surface and spread a thin layer of mayonnaise over it.

  2. Cut the smoked salmon into slices and dice the pear into small cubes.

  3. Lay a lettuce leaf on each tortilla, then arrange the smoked salmon slices on top of the lettuce.

  4. Sprinkle the diced pear evenly over the salmon.

  5. Roll the tortilla tightly into a log.

  6. Slice the roll crosswise into pieces about 2–3 cm (1 inch) thick.

  7. Repeat with the remaining tortillas.

Serving Suggestion

Arrange the tortilla rolls on a serving platter and serve chilled. These elegant bite-sized wraps make a perfect appetizer, brunch dish, light lunch, or addition to a festive buffet table.
