Easy Baked Mini Donuts Recipe: Soft, Sweet, and Ready in Minutes

Skip the deep frying and make these fluffy baked mini donuts with simple pantry ingredients

Ingredients

  • 3 cups flour

  • 3 teaspoons baking powder

  • 2 eggs

  • 4 tablespoons sugar

  • 1 packet vanilla sugar

  • ¼ teaspoon salt

  • 2 containers (about 400 ml total) of plain cultured buttermilk-style yogurt

Instructions

  1. Combine all the ingredients in a large bowl and mix until you have a smooth batter.

  2. Lightly spray the cavities of a Multi-Cake maker (or doughnut maker) with cooking oil.

  3. Fill each cavity with the batter.

  4. Bake according to the appliance instructions until the cakes are golden and fully cooked through.

  5. Remove and allow to cool slightly before serving.

Optional Toppings

  • Powdered sugar

  • Melted chocolate

  • Cinnamon sugar

  • Jam

  • Dulce de leche

  • Vanilla glaze
