Classic Homemade Matzo Balls: Soft, Fluffy, and Perfect for Passover Soup

Ingredients

  • 2 cups matzo meal

  • ¼ cup water

  • 2 eggs, beaten

  • Black pepper, to taste

  • A handful of fresh parsley leaves, finely chopped

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 2 tablespoons oil

Instructions

  1. Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and mix well. Form the mixture into balls of your desired size.

  2. Bring a pot of water to a boil and add a little salt. Carefully place the matzo balls into the boiling water.

  3. Cook until the matzo balls float to the surface. Remove them from the water and allow them to cool slightly before serving.
