IDF Says Hamas Operative Who Entered Israel on October 7 Was Killed in Southern Gaza

The IDF said it carried out a strike earlier this week in southern Gaza and killed Akram Muhammad Mahmoud Abu Madi, a terrorist in the military wing of the Hamas terror organization, who took part in the raid into Israeli territory during the October 7 massacre.

According to the IDF, in recent months Abu Madi had been involved in efforts to rebuild the organization’s infrastructure in the Strip and advance terror plans against IDF forces and civilians in the State of Israel.

Security officials said his killing is part of the ongoing effort to thwart terrorists involved in the October 7 attack and in attempts to rebuild Hamas’s military capabilities.
