A Key Figure in Captivity of Israeli Hostages Killed in Gaza Strike

The IDF and the Shin Bet confirmed Tuesday afternoon that in a joint operation in Gaza two days ago, the terrorist Talal Jaber Muhammad Abd al-Aal was killed. He had served in a number of roles within Islamic Jihad.

Abd al-Aal commanded a terrorist cell that infiltrated the territory of the State of Israel and took part in the October 7 massacre. Throughout the war, Abd al-Aal was involved in holding hostages who were being held by the terror organization in southern Gaza.

As previously reported, yesterday the IDF spokesperson confirmed that the terrorist Zaher Brahim Khalil Abu Salem was killed in northern Gaza. The terrorist belonged to the Islamic Jihad organization. He infiltrated the territory of the State of Israel during the October 7 massacre, took part in abducting Israeli civilians from their homes, and in holding them in captivity.
