The IDF Spokesperson announced today (Wednesday) that during an overnight operation in the Binyamin Brigade area, Duvdevan Unit soldiers, operating under the direction of the Shin Bet, arrested two wanted suspects accused of manufacturing explosive devices intended for use against IDF forces.

During the operation, the troops also arrested an alleged arms dealer who was found in possession of a large quantity of weapons. All of the suspects were transferred to the security forces for further questioning.

In a separate incident this morning, IDF troops were dispatched to the area near the community of Ma'ale Levona in the Shomron Brigade following reports that assailants had thrown stones at Israeli vehicles traveling along a nearby highway.

One Israeli civilian was lightly injured in the attack and evacuated to a hospital for medical treatment. Two vehicles were also damaged.

Security forces launched a search for the suspects and imposed a closure on the village of Sinjil.
