Elbit Lands Major U.S. Border Security Deal Worth Hundreds of Millions

Elbit Systems announced that its American subsidiary has won new contracts from U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), with a total value of more than $370 million. According to the company’s statement, deliveries and installation work under the new agreements are expected to continue through May 2029.

The company did not provide details about the scope of the new contracts and chose not to disclose which systems or capabilities will be included. Still, Elbit Systems has been active for years in border protection technologies and develops a wide range of sensors, surveillance systems, and advanced solutions designed for security and monitoring missions.

This latest win joins a string of previous contracts the company has secured with U.S. authorities, worth hundreds of millions of dollars. As part of those projects, Elbit is responsible for a central part of the security network along the U.S.-Mexico border through the “smart border” project.

Elbit Systems employs more than 20,000 people in dozens of countries across five continents. The company’s revenue in the first quarter of 2026 totaled about $2.19 billion, and its order backlog stood at $30.2 billion at the end of March.
