Among those killed was Amro Abu Alrish, a *Nukhba* militant in the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad terror organization, who took part in the release of an Israeli civilian from the group’s captivity.
According to a statement from the IDF Spokesperson, Abu Alrish was killed in a strike carried out in southern Gaza. Alongside his involvement in the release of the Israeli civilian, he took part throughout the war in fighting against IDF forces operating in the Strip, and was involved in carrying out terror plans intended to target security forces.
The IDF added that in recent months, Abu Alrish continued to operate within the military wing of Palestinian Islamic Jihad and advanced additional terror plans. In addition, he took part in training *Nukhba* militants and attempted to restore the terror organization’s operational capabilities.
In addition, another strike was carried out over the weekend in northern Gaza, during which Abd al-Nasser al-Aziz Maqadma was killed. According to the IDF, Maqadma served as a commander in Hamas police while also serving as a deputy company commander in the organization’s military wing.
According to the IDF, Maqadma had also recently been involved in advancing terror plans directed against IDF forces and civilians in the State of Israel. The military said that his activity made him an operational target, and accordingly it was decided to kill him in a precise aerial strike.
