IDF Troops Find Weapons in Southern Lebanon, Fire at Suspect Who Approached Forces
IDF soldiers located Kalashnikov rifles, RPG rockets, explosive devices, grenades, magazines, and additional combat equipment. Troops fired at a suspect who posed a threat to the forces.

(Photo: IDF Spokesperson)The IDF Spokesperson said this morning (Wednesday) that IDF forces are continuing operations in southern Lebanon to locate and destroy weapons. Troops from Division 91 are currently focusing their efforts on locating Hezbollah infrastructure in the security zone.
Over the past few days, according to the IDF, soldiers from the 401st, 4th, and 300th Brigades located Kalashnikov rifles, RPG rockets, explosive devices, grenades, magazines, and additional combat equipment.

In addition, troops from the Shahaf (869) collection unit identified a suspect in the Ras al-Bayda area who approached IDF forces in a manner that posed a threat to them. Troops from the 55th Brigade fired warning shots in order to move him away. After the suspect continued approaching them and did not respond to the troops’ calls, they fired at him to remove the threat.
