The IDF Spokesperson confirmed today (Shabbat) that Hezbollah terrorists launched an explosive drone yesterday at an IDF force operating near the Ali al-Taher ridge. No Israeli troops were injured. In doing so, Hezbollah violated the ceasefire. Ynet reported that the IDF had withheld this information from the public, and the IDF Spokesperson issued confirmation following an inquiry from the media.

The IDF said: "The IDF releases information to the public based on relevant considerations and situational assessments. The IDF Spokesperson will not release information that, according to a situational assessment, could endanger our forces operating in combat areas."

The assessment is that Hezbollah terrorists launched the explosive drone in an effort to help terrorists escape from the underground tunnel network at the Ali al-Taher ridge. Dozens of terrorists are trapped and surrounded in underground infrastructure in the area.

Meanwhile, Lebanese sources reported this evening that IDF drones dropped incendiary bombs on the Ali al-Taher ridge. In addition, a drone struck a target in the Nabatieh area, and several people were injured. Another strike was carried out by two drones in the area of Kfar Roummane in southern Lebanon.
