Explosive Thrown, Gunfire Reported Near Gaza’s Yellow Line; No Injuries
The IDF said terrorists fired toward the Yellow Line area in the Gaza Strip and also detonated an explosive device. No injuries were reported. The IDF struck several targets in the area in response.

In addition, operatives fired toward the same area. "There were no injuries among our forces." Immediately afterward, IDF forces struck in the yellow line area.
Palestinians reported that the IDF carried out two airstrikes using fighter jets in the area east of Gaza City. Continued artillery fire was also reported toward the Shuja'iya area in eastern Gaza City, prompting residents to evacuate the area. Several Gazans were reported injured as a result of the fire.
There were also reports of activity by militias opposed to Hamas, also in the area east of Gaza City. According to journalists affiliated with Hamas, a cell of militia members entered a building near the yellow line border, and then an explosive device was activated, causing the building to explode. Following the incident, fire was launched from attack helicopters in the area. It was not reported what happened to the militia members.
