U.S. Offers Up to $10 Million for Information on Senior Iranian Revolutionary Guard Officials

The U.S. State Department’s "Rewards for Justice" program announced today (Monday) a reward of up to $10 million for information on senior officials in Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. This was reported by Channel 14 News.

According to the American announcement, U.S. administration officials are seeking information on key leaders in the Revolutionary Guard and the organization’s various branches. The list includes Ahmad Vahidi, a commander in the Revolutionary Guard; Ali Abdollahi, head of the Khatam al-Anbiya headquarters; Saeed Aghajani, commander of the drone unit of the Revolutionary Guard’s Air and Space Force; Hamidreza Lashgarian, head of the Cyber and Electronics Command; and Majid Khademi, commander of the organization’s intelligence apparatus.

The announcement is part of the American effort to apply economic pressure on senior Iranian officials. As a reminder, the United States announced a series of new sanctions yesterday against Iranian individuals and companies.
