The IDF Spokesperson said Tuesday evening that Israeli forces struck a Hamas commander today in the Jabalia area of northern Gaza. According to the IDF Spokesperson, "The terrorist had recently advanced terror operations against IDF soldiers and Israeli civilians and worked to restore the organization’s capabilities, while systematically violating the ceasefire. The terrorist was struck to remove the threat."
This was the second targeted killing in less than 24 hours. Last night, a commander in Hamas’s military wing was eliminated in Deir al-Balah. In a separate strike, two terrorists were eliminated in northern Gaza, including a Nukhba company commander.
The IDF stressed that "Southern Command forces remain deployed in the area in accordance with the agreement and will continue operating to remove any immediate threat."
