The IDF Spokesperson said Wednesday evening that more than 26 kilometers, or over 16 miles, of underground routes have been neutralized by Northern Brigade forces and Yahalom since the ceasefire began in Gaza. The forces, operating under Division 99, are active in northern Gaza to defend and clear the area along the Yellow Line of terror infrastructure.
According to the IDF, over the past several weeks, the forces, together with Yahalom, destroyed an underground route approximately one kilometer long.
It should be noted that Palestinians reported yesterday that the IDF was moving inward to expand the area defined as the Yellow Line in northern Gaza. According to them, the IDF has begun expanding the territory under its control.
