The U.S. president issued another warning to Iran, saying the United States is monitoring activity at Mount Pickaxe. He stressed: “Within five months, we made sure Iran would not have nuclear weapons.”
Trump (Photo: Ari Leib Abrams, Flash90)U.S. President Donald Trump once again issued a threat toward Iran over the weekend. Speaking to reporters on Shabbat, Trump said, “We may strike Mount Pickaxe very soon, because if something happens there, we will not let it happen. Within five months, we made sure Iran would not have nuclear weapons; we prevented that from them. But if something bad happens on the mountain, we will strike hard.”
According to Trump, “We know about everything that moves anywhere across Iran. If something goes wrong, we hit them, and we hit them hard.” The American president added that he does not call the conflict with Iran a “war,” but rather a “military confrontation,” explaining that “it’s not a big thing; for us, it’s small change.”
“We lost 18 people, but in Vietnam you lost 100,000 people, and in other conflicts we lost tens of thousands of people. We carry out strikes from time to time; this is not a war.”
It should be noted that last week, the U.S. president said that the United States would conquer Kharg Island and also threatened to annex the Strait of Hormuz.
