Gaza: Terrorist Who Led Raid on Sufa Outpost and Held Hostages Killed

The IDF Spokesperson and the Shin Bet said today (Friday) that terrorist Mohammed Mahmoud Marshad al-Kadi was killed two days ago in the Khan Yunis area of southern Gaza. He served as a Nukhba company commander in Hamas's military wing.

The terrorist raided the Sufa outpost during the October 7 massacre and commanded the raid on the outpost. Throughout the war, he took part in holding hostages captive by Hamas in the Rafah area. Recently, he led training sessions for Hamas terrorists and worked to restore the organization's capabilities.

In addition, the terrorist advanced terror plots against IDF forces and Israeli civilians while systematically violating the ceasefire. He was killed to remove the threat he posed.

Also this morning, gunfire was identified toward IDF forces operating east of the yellow line in northern Gaza. There were no casualties among our forces. The IDF struck the area and said that "this constitutes a blatant violation of the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip."
