The IDF Spokesperson announced Wednesday evening that forces from Division 99, which had been operating for the past four months in the northern Gaza Strip, east of the Yellow Line, have completed their mission.

The forces focused on destroying and neutralizing terrorist infrastructure both above and below ground, as well as thwarting Hamas efforts to rebuild its capabilities. During the division’s operations, approximately eight kilometers of underground routes were neutralized, and numerous terrorist infrastructures were destroyed, including an observation command center and buildings used by terrorists to prepare and plan attacks against IDF forces.

In addition, more than 100 terrorists were eliminated, including terrorists who took part in the October 7 attack on Israel, terrorists who held hostages in captivity, and terrorists who attempted to plant explosive devices targeting IDF troops operating in the area.

The IDF Spokesperson added that Division 162 continues to operate in the Gaza Strip.
